Join our March webinar for an update on ESS-DIVE reporting formats and the Deep Dive API, which now enables search within CSV data files when datasets follow the File-Level Metadata (FLMD) reporting format. To do this, the ESS-DIVE Fusion Database validates and parses individual data files when you describe files and variables using this format. In the webinar, we will provide an overview of common file-level issues that prevent parsing, and have informed our planned FLMD updates. We will have open discussion time for feedback on these plans, and to answer any questions.
During the webinar, we will cover the following topics:
- Overview of current reporting format datasets in ESS-DIVE and Deep Dive API search
- File-level metadata review during the publication process
- Requirements for successful validation and parsing in the Fusion Database
- Planned updates to the FLMD and CSV reporting formats
Please encourage anyone from your project who may be interested to attend.
